As we near the end of the Spore Collective, as we know it now, I ask that you listen to this discussion with Vik Muniz on Creation. It is part of the TED talks and I am enthralled by what this organization is doing.
Here are some possible topics for your presentations:
Why sculpture is never boring. (pick your point of view and your artists)
How do we define beauty in studio art acdemia? (good question to explore, pick your artists)
The Real and the Unreal in Fine Arts. (David Wilson, Henry Darger,…)
The Spore Manefesto. (above, but also expand on how we make art and why)
Fluxus Today. ( see the post on this)

Take a look at the Fluxus Movement, artist Yoko Ono, the Galerie Ecart, artist John Armleder, and the artist collective BMPT (Daniel Buren, Oliver Mosset, Michel Parmentier, and Niele Toroni). Consider the cross-pollination of painting, sculpture, design, performance, installation and curating. What are your thoughts?
